Champagne Voirin-Jumel is a small family-owned, Cramant-based Estate that has been passed down through multiple generations. It was established in 1968 after Gilles Voirin and Françoise Jumel, both children of wine-growing families in neighbouring Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs (Gilles from Chouilly; Françoise from Cramant), united in marriage and started bottling champagne under the name ‘Voirin-Jumel’ in the early 1970s.
