Delivery & Returns
Orders must be signed for by someone 18 years or older. Unattended delivery is not available. We do not deliver to PO Box or RMB.
We aim to process all orders within 24 hours of receipt (business days only) and then lodge your order with our shipping partner for delivery. Delivery time estimates are provided below for standard delivery despatched from our Melbourne warehouse. Please note, during peak times like Christmas, it may take longer to process orders.
We always do our best to ensure timely and safe arrival of your wine order, keeping you informed by email regards day and time of arrival and managing the tracking code from our end for 100% assurance of delivery. During times of extreme heat or heatwaves, we may call you to discuss and coordinate a preferred delivery time.
For express delivery please call and discuss with us. Charges are higher, in line with the faster service provided with costs usually ranging from $30 – $55.
Deliveries of more than 12 bottles (2 cases) may incur an additional fee.

Returns
We do our best to ensure your champagne is delivered safely, and do not allow returns unless the bottle is damaged or corked.
However, if your bottle arrives damaged or corked, please contact us immediately. We will work with you to ensure you receive a replacement.
Please note, you’ll need to send the faulty bottles with the cork and at least 75% of its contents back to Sally Hillman. All replacements must be authorized by the importer and can take up to 7 days.
Lehmann Glassware Shipping & Care
Shipping & Packaging Standards
Every care is taken to ensure that your beautiful Lehmann glassware arrives to you safe and sound. We dispatch orders promptly and package your glasses securely using strong, eco-friendly and, where possible, reusable packing materials.
We remain in close contact throughout the packing and shipping process, and tracking details are sent via SMS/email.
The package is always clearly labelled ‘fragile’ so that it is treated with care in transit. However, if a glass is broken along the way, we will replace it as soon as possible.
Glassware Care
To ensure that your premium Lehmann glassware is in the perfect condition to allow you to fully enjoy your next drink, there are a few simple tips to keep in mind when cleaning them.
We recommend that you wash your glasses by hand to avoid breakage.
- Rinse glasses under warm water and use a glassware-only cloth if you need to remove any stubborn stains
- Detergent is not necessary, as this can leave residue that will interfere with the beading (the string of effervescence) in champagne, and also taint the flavour of wines
Drain glassware upside down on a linen tea towel and gently polish them when they’re dry with a Sally Hillman microfibre polishing cloth.
- A small amount of steam on the glass can provide a bit of friction to help with
polishing - When polishing, be careful not to twist the glass against the stem, as this can cause breakages
All Lehmann glasses are now dishwasher safe.
- If using a dishwasher, we recommend selecting a glass program and ensuring that the load is only glassware
- Use only minimal detergent to avoid leaving residue
If you are not cleaning your glasses right away, put a bit of water in the glass so that stains do not become hard to clean later.
