At The Bar with Jane Rocca

On June 26, I had the pleasure of being featured in At The Bar, an insightful interview series by Jane Rocca on her website The Write Drop. The series delves into the rituals, memories and personal tastes of those passionate about food, wine, and culture.

Jane’s questions were thoughtful and delightfully unexpected: from my favourite bar and most memorable food experience, to which champagne best describes me. We spoke about French food, my go-to wineries, and the most surprising moment during the making of the book. I also shared champagne pairings for every season and the story behind the last bottle I opened – and why.

It was a joy to reflect on my love affair with champagne — and to speak about the culture, nuance, and quiet beauty it brings to everyday life.
