Maintain the mousse. Promote the perlage. No matter your preferred nomenclature for champagne’s effervescence, the steady stream of bubbles rising from the centre of a super-fine crystal glass is a hypnotising sight to behold and the most refreshing mouthfeel to experience. That’s why we go to great lengths to ensure our stemware is pristine so as not to interfere with the wine’s natural sparkle.
The best way to preserve champagne’s iconic effervescence is to ensure your premium Lehmann glassware is in the perfect condition.
Use Sally Hillman’s microfibre polishing cloth when polishing; a luxurious and specialised accessory boasting a generous size to buff and boost brilliance for that final touch of stemware sophistication. Lint-free, scratch-free, odour-free and easy to clean, Sally Hillman’s signature polishing cloth is complimentary with every Lehmann Glass set of 6.
Avoid using fabric softener to clean your polishing cloths because synthetic fragrances and residue may be left on the glass.
All Lehmann glasses are now dishwasher safe.
If you are not cleaning your glasses right away, put a bit of water in the glass so that stains do not become hard to clean later.
‘The glass is a case that reveals the aromas and sublimates the excellence of the terroirs. With the Lehmann brand, we subtly combine glass-making know-how and oenological expertise to passionately imagine elegant curves that will accompany your tastings’—Phillipe Jamesse.
The Lehmann P. Jamesse Signature collection is the result of the iconic collaboration between Lehmann Glass and Philippe Jamesse, Head Sommelier of 18 years at Domaine Les Crayères in Reims, Champagne. Their intention is to preserve the colour, effervescence and energy of all champagne, fine wine, sake and spirit experiences. After two years of meticulous research and development, the P. Jamesse collection has been reimagined into a newer, lighter and more refined version—the show-stopping Ultralight series!—while preserving the original designs and their individuality.
Universal glassware and champagne-specific stemware are offered in both machine-made and Ultralighthandmade options, and the collection also features a specialised Ultralight handmade sake and spirit glass. Uniquely tulip-shaped and exquisitely crafted, each item in the artisanal P. Jamesse Signature collection will suit all table settings, tasting moments, occasions and levels of usage.
Every care is taken to ensure that your beautiful Lehmann glassware arrives to you safe and sound. We dispatch orders promptly and package your glasses securely using strong, eco-friendly and, where possible, reusable packing materials.
We remain in close contact throughout the packing and shipping process, and tracking details are sent via SMS/email.
The package is always clearly labelled ‘fragile’ so that it is treated with care in transit. However, if a glass is broken along the way, we will replace it as soon as possible.
