A young non-vintage chardonnay dominant champagne that is both full-bodied yet finishes with minerally, crisp acidity.
Out of stock
A blend of 50% Chardonnay, 40% Meunier, 10% Pinot noir from the 2016 vintage is blended with 50% of wine from a perpetual reserve. The fruit is from seven individual parcels that lie mostly on flinty clay on chalky subsoil: Pierry, Moussy, Épernay, Mardeuil, Dizy, Boursault, Vertus. The wine sees some oak, 20%, with the balance vinified in stainless steel and has three grams per litre of dosage.
The intense chalky freshness of chardonnay instantly cleanses the palate, followed by the rich, textural, full-bodied red grape combination.
Best enjoyed from the Lehmann F. Sommier Hadrien 45 machine made glass.
Enjoy with grilled mushrooms filled with goats’ cheese and parmesan.
