Looking back on 2025, I’ve been reflecting on what has been an incredibly rewarding chapter. It was the year my book found its way into the world, and with it, into conversations across food, lifestyle, travel, and Champagne.
What began as a considered body of work quickly grew into something shared through pages, podcasts, kitchens, and tables. I’m incredibly grateful to the editors, writers, hosts, and collaborators who took the time to read, cook, taste, and tell these stories.
Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from 2025.
HERALD SUN: ‘Party Poppers’, a feature article by Kara Monssen introducing the book, published Saturday 27 September 2025. See the article below.

SOUNDS GOOD PODCAST with Donna Demaio: We talked about the inspiration behind the book, the unmatched hospitality of the growers and winemakers of Champagne, and how even a simple home-cooked meal can be transformed by a well-chosen bottle of champagne. Listen here.
BOOK LAUNCH at Gilson, South Yarra: A memorable evening surrounded by friends, industry peers, and champagne celebrating the launch of my book.
THAT’S AMORE CHEESE Collaboration: A delicious collaboration at their Chadstone Cheesery, pairing Champagne with Burrata, made possible with the generous support of my publisher, Hardie Grant Custom.
2025 has been a reflection of a belief I’ve long held, and the reason I wrote the book: that Champagne belongs not only to grand occasions, but to the table, the kitchen, and the small moments that make life richer.
I look forward to sharing more stories, recipes, and inspiration, and to continuing to curate a space where the book’s ideas unfold, and everyday life can feel a little more celebratory.
For those discovering this work for the first time, the book is available for Australian readers on my website, Booktopia and Amazon, for US readers here and for our UK readers we’ll have an exciting update very soon.
Thank you to everyone who has read, shared, hosted, listened, and supported this journey. I can’t wait to see where 2026 takes us. More stories, more recipes, more conversations, and more glasses raised along the way.
À bientôt 🥂
