I was delighted to recently join Jo on the Conversations with a Chef podcast for episode #378, chatting about Champagne, food, France and my book, Celebrating Champagne: A Wine for All Seasons.
Jo has a wonderful way of making her guests feel immediately at ease, and our conversation was no exception. We very quickly discovered that we share a love of France, good food and the pleasures of gathering around a table. We talked about how my love of Champagne began, the growers and wines that continue to fascinate me, and the thinking behind Celebrating Champagne.
We also talked about something that is very important to me: Champagne doesn’t need to be saved for a special occasion. A good bottle is there to be opened, enjoyed and shared. There is always a reason to celebrate, even if sometimes the reason is simply that it is Tuesday.
It was such a lovely conversation, and I was very pleased to be part of episode #378.
