Jolivettes (translating to ‘pretty’) is an approachable and balanced champagne that is versatile as an apéritif or food companion—vibrantly juicy, then creamy and complex before a long finish teeming with wonderful minerality.

Jolivettes is a Blanc de Noirs (100% Pinot noir) champagne with fruit heralding from a single 0.6ha plot in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy in the Montagne de Reims—the heartland of Pinot noir.
Vines were planted on the south-facing plot in 1987 by sélection massale (the traditional practice of vineyard propagation with exceptional old vines), and grapes are managed biodynamically. All winemaking takes place in oak without malolactic fermentation, and the champagne sees 8 months on lees. With zero filtration at bottling and a very low dosage of 1 g/L, Nicolas expresses this compelling and distinctive terroir with a clarity and finesse that is enthralling to experience.
This vintage of Jolivettes is the first release and is, moreover, a concentrated and powerful champagne with a vivacity that is typical of its origin. Only 3626 bottles were produced.
Ripe berries combine with juicy stone fruits to create rich and complex flavours that flow elegantly alongside savoury, bready notes. A creamy, long finish follows, elevated by crisp acidity and chalky minerality to refresh the palate; each element deep and considered, unmarred by excess or distraction—utterly delicious.
Best enjoyed from the Lehmann Jamesse Prestige, Synergie 75 glass.
A delightful match with a duck confit croque monsieur sandwich, a classic homemade cheeseburger, or a duck liver parfait served with cornichons and toasted baguette.
