Cuvée No. 742 is a blend of 59% Pinot Noir from Aÿ, Dizy and Hautvillers and 41% Chardonnay from Avize and Oiry and is based on the 2014 vintage. The champagne is Pinot Noir dominant in its blend, as well as both flavour and texture. Dosage is 1.5 grams per litre.
Medium bodied, rich and well balanced the traditional characteristics of Pinot Noir are upfront in the aroma and finish on the palate.
Delicious with a crunchy veal schnitzel served alongside a fresh herb salad.
