With independent ties to viticultural history dating back to 1765, the Larmandier and Bernier families united to become Champagne Larmandier-Bernier when Philippe Larmandier and his wife, Elisabeth Bernier, built their first cellar in the village of Vertus in the Côte des Blancs in 1971.
